Green Offices is an innovative environmental quality label for buildings and offices. Its acquisition requires the implementation and enforcement of strict criteria related to energy and water consumption, waste management, the use of environmentally friendly personal cleanliness and detergents, the quality of food and beverages, the conversion of free spaces into green spaces and environmental education.
Green Offices has joined the activities of the Foundation for Environmental Education, an international non-governmental organization that aims to promote sustainable development and environmental education throughout the world. The National Operator of the Green Offices Program is the Environmental Organization CYMEPA and is implemented in cooperation with the Network of Volunteers Together Cyprus and under the auspices of the Environmental Commissioner.
